Poised to become the flagship U.S. location for the Regent Hotel brand, the transformation of the former Loews Santa Monica into the Regent Santa Monica Beach was a major undertaking that aimed to elevate both the design and structural performance of the beachfront property. NMN Construction was proud to support this high-profile renovation with critical structural elements that make luxury feel effortless—and safe.

Our team executed a complex scope of work that included new shotcrete walls, structural beams and capitols, elevated deck structures, ramp construction, and fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) wrapping as part of the building’s seismic retrofit. These efforts strengthened the existing framework while accommodating the hotel’s top-to-bottom redesign and reduction in room count, creating more expansive suites and public spaces without compromising structural integrity.

This project showcases NMN’s ability to blend performance and precision in highly constrained, high-visibility environments, delivering critical structural work on schedule and in sync with a tight renovation timeline.
