Scope: Slope stabilization for City of Santa Ana railroad undercrossing with architectural concrete finish.
The First Street Slope Stabilization Project was part of the City of Santa Ana’s initiative to improve water quality and reduce stormwater pollution by reinforcing deteriorating slopes near a major railroad undercrossing.
NMN Construction worked with client EverLevel Holdings as the structural concrete subcontractor, self-performing the shotcrete placement used to stabilize the exposed slopes. In addition to providing critical erosion control, the concrete received an architectural stamped finish to enhance the visual appeal of the site.
Located at a key entry point into the city, the project combined function with aesthetics, delivering long-term environmental benefits while elevating the look and feel of this prominent gateway into Santa Ana.
