As part of the creation of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort, NMN Construction was selected to help bring a galaxy far, far away to life. Working under strict confidentiality protocols, we performed both shotcrete and cast-in-place concrete work across the themed environment, contributing to the distinct and immersive look of the park’s Star Wars-inspired rockscapes.
From the towering spires that define the skyline of Batuu to the intricate rock corridors that transport visitors into another world, our scope involved complex shaping, formwork, and expert finishing techniques to create naturalistic textures and believable stone formations. In several areas, our crews applied shotcrete overhead, including inside tight, winding pathways, showcasing the precision and artistry that this specialty work demands.
